our process

We don’t just take a floor plan and give you a refrigeration system proposal. We take the time to thoroughly learn your business before submitting a design. We ask questions that may not directly pertain to your refrigeration system, but that affect what your refrigeration system should look like. This part takes time, but we feel it is time well spent.

Once we agree on the concept, design begins. This is where we coordinate with our customers and their other trade partners to make sure everyone has a place in their new facility. Our process takes into account infrastructure limitations, industry-specific requirements, and budget constraints to give you a design that’s realistic, achievable, and that serves the intended purpose.

Planning and designing are critical to starting a project on the right track, but the project is still far from over! The coordination, installation, and commissioning stages are where many projects take turns for the worse. At Sterling, we own the process from cradle to grave. There is no hand-off from engineering to project management, because engineering IS project management. This allows us to bring the project to life the way we talked about from day one.
