Sterling Industrial Refrigeration is looking for Industrial Refrigeration Service Technicians who are driven to provide the highest quality service, safety, and professionalism to their customers. This position is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and support of industrial refrigeration equipment for our accounts. There is travel and on call duty.
Sterling Industrial Refrigeration is proud to provide everything from custom designed refrigeration systems, Web Based PSM Programs, Service Contracts and Professional Engineering for our customers.
Key Duties:
- Responsible for the repair and maintenance of industrial refrigeration equipment in the food processing and cold storage industries
- Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia refrigeration equipment
- Have working knowledge of screw compressors, electrical troubleshooting, and control/alarm systems to perform inspections and preventive maintenance
- Must adhere to all safety policies, procedures and customer’s requirements
- Must be familiar with all aspects of industrial refrigeration design, equipment, parts, and service
Requirements:
- Must have high school degree / GED, HVAC tech school preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of industrial (ammonia) HVAC experience OR 10 years of industrial ammonia experience for senior positions
- Universal EPA certification
- RETA 1 & 2 certification preferred
- Must be able to work unsupervised or with limited instructions
- Will require some overtime, travel and emergency calls
- Will require pre-employment drug screening and motor vehicle record screening
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must lift up to 75 lbs.
